How exactly does one steer this thing?

Ok, so I'm convinced thoroughly that all of this is real, and that if I can swing this the right way, the rest will cascade, simply by me being me. Voice calling at the end of the world and all that. You know, once upon a time, intensity and imagination were hallmarks of genius. Now they're poo-poohed by the mainstream as signs of insanity. Oh, the sheer irony of that sentence. 

Problem is that this is like a runaway horse. I really don't get a choice whether I want off the ride or not, since we're relatively speaking speeding through space very fast and if I do manage to get off, I won't last more than a few seconds before dessicating into tiny little specks of astral glitter.

Basically, the end of the world is happening and noone even knows it. And since I'm still practically non-existent... Noone has a reason to listen to me yet. That will change, hopefully, but the hardest part is that I'm depending on someone else still, and I really can't control the outcome. I've prepared as best as I can, but in the end, it's up to him what happens.
